Yoga could re-energise and balance your life.

Every Monday between 11 and 12 noon, in the Community Room, Sian is running a friendly, yoga class suitable for all ages and abilities. She has been practising yoga for about five years and qualified as a teacher with the Devon School of Yoga in 2007. She is interested in bringing the benefits of yoga to whoever is interested in learning, whatever their age, ability or experience.

Hatha yoga is a discipline and practice which nurtures the whole person. Physically and mentally it improves flexibility, strength and balance

The purpose of a yoga practice is different for each person but it often helps to create resolution and harmony within the individual.

The classes which Sian teaches combine simple warm up exercises with yoga postures, breathing practices and relaxation techniques. The classes are non-competitive and each person is encouraged to work within their own limitations.

Sian is about to undertake a three week course in India which she hopes will bring new energy and insight into her own practice and teaching.

If you are interested in joining the class please come along to the class on Monday mornings.The sessions cost £5 and yoga mats are provided.
